Michael Wright's Bio

Michael Wright started his life as a Major Headliner in the news, born at 12:01 am on New Years Day.  Michael was the first baby of the year, honored by all even the government.  His momentum has stayed full throttle ever since.  The late 1980’s headlines were about Michael’s first album as a Rock and Roll Superstar.  His farm life surfaced throughout his career and those country roots became the driving force in his music. Raising Cattle with his Uncle, with the smell of hay in the country air, stirred Michael’s passion for bull riding.  Riding and roping horses daily later was a part of the building block for his heart’s rhythm to move him through the songs and love of country that he writes.  Michael’s songs pull you into a time less harried, a time filled with old dirt roads, corn fields, roadhouse bars, six guns and cowboy romancing.  Songs about the love he shares with friends and families, past painful relationships as well as poignant personal stories shared with him by his countless fans.

The single, "We were in love" off the album "Those were the days" has gained incredible reviews from Michael's wonderful fans. This album takes you on journey of melancholy as you hear Michael sing of real life....a relatable journey of joy, tears, romance, poker games, love of family, broken hearts, wild horses, and beautiful women. Before you realize what has happened Michael has a hold of your heart and will not let go.

His love of performing is evident at the many festivals and venues he plays. He takes to the floor with the audience and will dance and sing right along side them. He puts on a show you will never forget!

If you were not a fan before you heard his name, you will be roped in once you hear his strong, clear, penetrating voice, and will find yourself singing the songs from his album.
